Looks like I'm going to get peritoneal dialysis. This means no more needles, no more getting up early early to go to the hospital three times a week and more energy during the day without getting wiped out by the hospital's hemodialysis. I'll soon be free to go to more Blazer games.
If you come to my neck of the woods, let me know. I'll invite you to dinner (no, not like Hannibal Lecter).
Fantastic news, and I don't just throw around the word fantastic cuz its a weird word to use. But in this case, it works.
Of course I want to see Vietnam. I loved the country when I was there. Really wanted to volunteer to work in an orphanage but they kept me too busy to have a chance. My hemodialysis prevents me from going there right now. I'm trying to get the ball rolling faster on converting to peritoneal dialysis but it involves surgery first.
