I was just skimming over the Dwight Howard chat transcript and something caught my eye. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Rafael Orlando: Dwight, because of your recent commitment to an extension, I'm making my commitment to renew my season tickets. You've created a buzz in this town that hasn't been here for a very long time. Can you see yourself in an Orlando Magic uniform for the long term? Dwight Howard: I do see myself in the Magic uniform for the long term. The Magic showed faith in me by drafting me No. 1 right out of high school and signing me to an extension. I'd like to pay them back by staying here my whole career. And hopefully my sidekick, Jameer Nelson, will be here with me all that time too! </div> Source

I do like Dwight's attitude, but I won't get my hopes up until he signs the contract.
T-Mac was always a baby. Dwight Howard has never, ever shown anything but maturity. A lot can change in two years. The big difference between T-Mac and Howard, was Grant Hill's contract and our flexiblity.
Here's some more good news. When asked about Dwight Howard's summer plans, here was his response. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Dwight Howard:</div><div class="quote_post">"I'm going to work on my game, and show the fans a new Dwight Howard."</div>
Dwight seems like a naive young kid, but I honestly think hes for real and he won't get less mature. He and Jameer are real leaders and the only reason either of them will leave is if this becmes a bad situation, or if significantly more money is offered elseware. We'll see.

I just meant it seems like he hasn't been corrupted by the world. The thing is I don't think that when he does get older he will be. That's all I meant, I love Dwight and was trying to emphasize a posative. I'm very sorry it was misconstrued.
