<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Lakers center Chris Mihm underwent successful arthro-scopic surgery Wednesday that removed scar tissue from his right ankle.

Lakers spokesman John Black said the surgery "went fine" and that Mihm can start basketball activity in four to six weeks. Black also said Mihm should be ready in time for the start of training camp Oct. 2.

Mihm, 27, will wear a protect-ive boot for two to three weeks while his injury heals.

Mihm was injured March 12 against the Seattle SuperSonics when he fell awkwardly after trying to block a dunk in the final minute of the game. He sat out the next 17 games and then re-injured the ankle during the regular-season finale against New Orleans. The injury kept him out of 24 games, including all the first-round playoff games against the Phoenix Suns.</div>

    ok

Maybe, we'll see if he heals right. We need a good backup Center whether it's him or someone else.

Uh, is that a joke? Did Grant Hill have successful surgeries? It happens a lot.

Good to hear, hopefully he can stop having pain in the ankle now.

Actually I think Hill's surgeries went good it was just he kept reaggravating the injury or something new happened.

Either way, I hope we don't have a problem here with Mihm. I hope he doesn't keep reaggrevating the injury.

Actually Grant Hill got very sick from the surgery and they almost had to amputate his foot. His body was rejecting the rods they inserted in his ankle.
