Nelson likely returning to Warriors Thursday, Jun 21, 2007 6:09 pm EDT Don Nelson Getty Images Five weeks after suggesting he might retire on the heels of the Golden State Warriors' playoff run, coach Don Nelson has apparently come back refreshed and has unofficially (but happily) jumped back onboard for the 2007-2008 Warriors season. "Nellie's doing pretty good," said Chris Mullin, Warriors' VP for basketball operations. "With anybody, first and foremost, it's his health, make sure he's feeling good. And I think right now he is. That's the No.1 thing." http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Ne...F?urn=nba,37073
Ha Ha ...... i don't know if i am coming around... You made some good points certainly, but i still prefer the Dub's to look elsewhere to get that production. I can see the positives that Barnes brings and if we can retain him at a reasonable price then i would tolerate it. Ok support it, damn it. This crusade against Barnes must remind you of my two year crusade to rid us of the infection that was the liability..... fisher.... and before that..... there was the towel.... and before that.... the black hole known as jason cafey and before that........ There was this point guard, Deandre Moore, for the AZtecs. I was relentless on him his whole career. A sub 5'11" Pg, that was shoot first .... shoot second... but had no shot,,, dribble pg, who cost us the chance to go to the tourney by missing 4 consecutive free throws. Can i hear a nick anderson, Amen. But he did have one career highlight and a big one. Throwing a half court and beyond prayer shot at Unlv in the conference tourney he made the shot that got us into the Tourney, 2002-3.... only to be wiped by 40 by Illinoise. I thnk he was fisher's twin.
