<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>How much will team performance even dictate whether GM John Paxson and chairman Jerry Reinsdorf hire Jim Boylan permanently? For now, there is no way of knowing. But Boylan does think his working relationship with Paxson is going well. Boylan has been with the Bulls as an assistant coach since the 2004-05 season. "I don't think the patience is running low upstairs," Boylan said. "I met with John this morning and we had a great conversation. He's behind me and he's behind the team." -- Arlington Heights Daily Herald</div>
Oh great, Boylan had a conversation with Paxson today! That must be why Deng is out extended time (Bulls are forcing this on Deng from what I've seen), and Ben Gordon is sitting out with an injury he has played plenty of times with throughout his career. Of course Boylan is going to get extended, he's a good patsy, and thats what the patsy gets. He tanks the season so Paxson can look like a good GM by getting Beasley, Mayo, Rose, Gordon, to cover up the shitty job he did in 2006.

As long as Boylan answers his cell phone on the bench and does Pax's substitutions, why wouldn't he keep his job?
