<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">It's no coincidence that Orlando Magic power forward Drew Gooden is averaging almost a point a minute after the first two exhibition games.

He wants the ball. And he's learning quickly what to do with it.

"T-Mac (McGrady) said last year he needed someone else scoring,'' Gooden said after practice Friday. "And he's right. I'm not going to be tentative about it anymore. I know where the basket is. And I know how to get there.''

I think that gooden wont get more shots then last season becuase this year they signed Howard and drafted gaines who both need the ball. And you have TMac you know that he need his shots and they have giricek who is good role player and he needs some shots to produce!!!

that's what i was thinking too j-mac, to icebreakr and kj, i think he was saying that he stinks at defense and that would give the other teams points.

It still doesnt make sense. He said Gooden will put up points and boards, and boards are an essential part of defense. So therefore his statement is incorrect.
