Google Bans Porn Apps on Glass

    Since its debut, Google Glass has sparked curiosity, and a bit of controversy. Although many early adopters are fascinated by the cloud-computing possibilities of Glass, others are concerned that the device could erode personal privacy via its ever-present camera. Now, another concern has cropped up that wasn't entirely unexpected: the prospect of using Glass to record porn videos.

    On Monday, the same day one software company debuted a porn-related app for the device, Google rushed to address the matter with an update to its Google's Glass Platform Developer Policies, Under the Content Policies section, it now reads: "We don't allow Glassware content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts, or sexually explicit material. Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography. If we become aware of content with child pornography, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and delete the Google Accounts of those involved with the distribution."
