So, the Celtics signed Tom Gugliotta. I'm not totally sure how I feel since they didn't disclose for how much cash, but if he came cheap then I think this is pretty good. Any thoughts?

Yeah nice pickup...hes a veteran scorer and rebounder, his injuries are his only weakness..I thought he was gonna end up in Minnesota, but hes a nice addition for the Celts...

I don't know about him...Guggliotta is way past his prime and has been injury-prone since 2000. He does provide good size and rebounding though, but I doubt that he'd be effective, especially I think Rivers would want to give Jefferson a chance to develop first-hand.

I'm looking at as he's coming in to replace Jumaine Jones. 10-12 minutes a night (more if people get into foul trouble) and any points that he gives us should be considered a bonus.

Tom Guggliotta is well past his prime, he was given the starting job in Utah but didn't really do much with it. However he will help Jefferson develop, and could be relied on if other big men get in foul trouble. He's still a good rebounder with size, but don't expect anything special.
