Gordon to make debut on reality TV!

    Gordon to make debut on reality TV! (MTV)

    Ben Gordon is set to join the growing legion of reality TV stars.

    The Bulls? guard recently filmed a basketball-themed show with Cleveland?s LeBron James and Philadelphia?s Andre Iguodala that is scheduled to air on MTV beginning in August.

    The premise is a streetball showdown between teams of amateurs from Chicago and New York, ranging in age from 16-21.

    Gordon, a native of Mount Vernon, N.Y., coached the New York team, while Iguodala handled the Chicago squad, even though he grew up downstate in Springfield.

    James then hosted a game between the two rival cities in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

    ?It was fun,? Gordon said. ?I think it will be interesting for people who like basketball. There are a lot of different stories out there about some of the kids trying out, just some of the struggles they?re going through. This is something they were really looking forward to.?

    i dont really watch mtv all that much, but i'm definetly going to tune in to this one. it sounds great! cant wait!

    Nice. Definitely going to tune in to see two of my favorite players (Iguodala and Gordon) coach these teams. Should be fun to watch...

    I watch MTV on and off, but I`ll keep an eye out for commercials of it. I`m pumped!
