In an exclusive interview with Basketball News' Jarrod Rudolph, Hill confided that he has decided to join Phoenix, and will be signing a new contract with the Suns on July 11th. In a wide ranging interview that will be available in the next few hours, Hill discussed why he chose the Suns, and why he really did not give the Magic much consideration. Hill is rumored to have agreed to a contract for the NBA minimum, just over $1 million for a player with his NBA experience. Look for Jarrod's interview with Grant Hill and more as it develops.</div> I've personally never been to hoops world so I don't know how credible they are so take it for what it's worth.
I think it's expected that he will get injured at least once during the year so it'll be hard to gauge if he'll be getting the minutes in as a starter or just play a major role off of the bench. He will definitely have a bigger role than Jalen did, but I think we have to wait to see what else Phx does with their lineup to see where HIll fits in exactly.

If you bring him off the bench and play him about 20 or just over 20 minutes a game he should be able to stay healthy the majority of the season. He is a great fit for you guys because he is a very good fast break guy. Good signing and I wish him well.
boris would be good trade bait... but hes a solid young foeward with an overall good state of health approaching his prime... hill is an injury plagued aging star on his way out... hill cant be a starter on this tem imo, but he will be a strong asset
This is good news for the Suns. They could use a good reliable scorer of the bench. He is a great leader and facilitator. I think you could look at moving Diaw. You are still starting Marion and Amare at this stage so dangling Diaw out there and seeing what bites may not be a bad idea.
<div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Does this make Boris Diaw expendable?</div> As much as I'd like to see him go I think his salary coupled with his performance last year would make limited takers unless it was part of a bigger trade (i.e. KG) to match salaries. At least Hill was gotten for cheap.
Grant Hill Just wants a championship, So everyone stays he is just an added peice to help them because he is a Vet. However, as much as I want Nash to win a championship, this, with Grant Hill, is as close as he will ever get both Nash and Hill, are runnning out of time before this team blows up.
If Grant Hill can stay healthy and be played right, I think he'll flourish in the Suns system. Good for him. The guy was such a great player until those injuries set in.
