I'm surprised there's no thread on either game, so I'd just like to give props to both Oregon and Oregon State for two great wins today. I'm a Duck fan at heart, but I like to see both teams do well. Congrats to the Beavs for DOMINATING Stanford. It's clear that the Beavs are playing much better, and honestly I think they have a good chance vs. USC (I would've said no way a couple weeks ago). Also, seeing that idiot Harbaugh (sp?) so upset the whole game was completely awesome 38-28, but it really wasn't that close. Congrats again. Excellent win for the Ducks too. I remember just a few weeks ago, "experts" like Canzano were saying we'd be lucky to win 5-6 games this year. The most amazing thing to me is if you don't count the blunders on special teams that gave the opponents outstanding field position, the defense has given up 3 points in the last 3 games (UCLA had one very good drive today...resulting in a 52 yard desperation field goal). That is about as dominant as it gets. Costa is clearly not Masoli though, and I really hope Jeremiah is healthy for Washington. If he is...I like our chances. After all, recent history has shown that when the Ducks have more than a week to prepare for a game, they tend to play really well... Here's to the Ducks and Beavers finishing #1 and #2 in the Pac-10 this year! With the way things are going so far, it's most certainly not impossible.
