Excuse me for going solo when I could've posted in the game thread but I just finished watching the game (I recorded it) and I was blown away by our effort! Lillard was so clutch. Best rookie I've seen in awhile. Not just on our team but ANY team. He looks like an All Star vet out there. I have utmost confidence in him whenever he has the ball. Batum & Matthews- what can I say? Clutch fucking defense. Aldridge- doing your All Star work. Will Barton- you got to play and hit a shot, good job. Was Stotts ordered to play all our players? This was a HUGE win. On the road against a very hot team in their home opener in overtime. GO BLAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great win indeed! Lillard is a very cool customer. How often do you see a rookie get 8 points in overtime in only his third NBA game?
Hey. What do you know about Mattioli Productions? very very rare. Last rookie I can think of who was good right away like this was Nick Van Exel. Of course, there's also White Chocolate and Brandon Jennings, but I think Dame is better than those guys. Cassell was clutch as a rookie too didn't start.
