I have been working on a TV show covering HS sports in the Portland metro area. I've never been a big soccer fan, don't hate it just never got into it. I covered the Lincoln v Clackamas boy's soccer match last night. I have to say it was one of the best sporting events at any level I have been to. It was well played by both teams went into overtime and a goal with 17 sec left pushed it to a shoot out. Given I have a media pass and was filming the game I was on the field right next to the goal as they were taking the PK's. Lincoln ended up winning and It made me a fan of good soccer. After the game winning goal the players ran around the field and students rushed the field and the excitement was electric considering it's a HS soccer game. Lincoln moved on to the Championship game this Saturday against Jesuit. If you get a chance come out and watch the match at Hillsboro stadium.
