Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel: "Heat center Alonzo Mourning stands within two weeks of being cleared for a return to the NBA, the doctor overseeing his kidney illness said Thursday night."

Most likely he won't return to the Heat, but it's great Zo is healthy enough to return to the NBA. He will definately solve a lot of teams problems with the lack of big men in the league.

it really depends on what he can get. if he accepts the MLE it makes him a valuable commodity off the bench for any team - i dunno if any teams would be prepared to offer any more??

haha....Alonzo should go to Seattle...because we soooo need a Center. Damn, it'd be awesome. [IMG] Not likely, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

We don't know what ZO can do though..he may not give a team that much anymore...he would be soild though.I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to dallas...but it seems he wants to stay at the Heat.

Heh, He should sign with the Mavs. Maybe then people will actually give the Mavs some respect and admit they have a chance of going all the way. [IMG]

Until mavs get a good forward they will never get the respect they deserve..i love watching the mavs..but until they get a good or decent big man people won't give them a good enough chance to win the NBA title.

I meant a decent post player that will get rebounds...dirk is a GREAT player top 10 in the league easily...but he isn't a post player...he is a great shooter that can attack and get rebounds..but dallas are missing a player that gets rebounds and bangs to get loose balls...so basically to help dirk out on the boards and what i mentioned above
