http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/columns/story?DB_OEM_ID=9200&id=5121114 Awesome read. I like the guy a lot. He isn't the best player on our bench, but what he brings in the club house is pure gold. Who would have thought a bench player like Powell would be a locker room leader? Keep it up, Josh!
JP's a good guy. I remember when he filled in for Lamar last year, he just tore it up on the court. I always see him and Kobe embrace before every game, but I never really knew what that was about. Interesting article, and I'm glad to know that he is one of the hardest working players on the team.
I've known that him and Kobe were really good friends, but never really knew why. I never knew he didn't smoke or drink, either. I honestly bought into the corn rows and tats and figured he was just another NBA player who liked partying. I think it is really cool that a vet like Odom, a superstar like Kobe, and a coach like Phil find inspiration in him and look to him to be a club house leader.
Wow, that's new. I never thought that of Josh. Pretty cool to think that he's a motivator on the bench. Hope he steps up in games where our bigs get in foul trouble.
