[IMG] why raps[IMG] Its pretty disipointing they lost, it will take a couple a days and some rehab to get over it, maybe we'll join the mavrick fans[IMG]
But alot of positives came from this season. We have a rook that will be great and our players are all starting to mesh. I expect big things next year, and now that we have a tast, we want the whole thing. Just wondering what all your thoughts where on this season.

I thought the Raps united as a team and proved so many people wrong. The key was the role players. Cause we all know Bosh is great but Parker, Barngani, and even Dixon at times really stepped up.

The thing that opened my eyes was TJ Ford. He was the real hero of the season from my perspective. He really ran the team and was the Nash or Kidd to do everything.

Lots of positives and people didnt expect you guys to do anything so going this far, winning 47games and an Atlantic Division title is extraordinary!

I do agree with the Raps uniting as a team and I think they played a more team game and it was really fun to watch. At times it was so one sided when we beat teams that I thought the Raps would've regained that momentum that we were playing at after game 5 and beat them.

How was TJ Ford the real hero? I know it's not evident in stats but the offense ran better under Jose and we won more games because he came off the bench and ignited the whole team to score. TJ looks for his own shot and then dishes out to the perimeter players in a haphazard fashion when he can't get off his shot. I'm not saying TJ was bad, but just that Jose was better. Combining both guys on the offensive end is still a unique situation for us, because Toronto would be hard to read with both of them playing differently.

Yes, 47 games was remarkable. I didn't think Toronto would get this good so quickly but I'm happy about the results since I thought it would take a longer time.

I felt that the real hero is Bosh. I remember in the beginning of the season when he tried to force everything to make the Raptors win and we were losing and then when he got injured, the team found itself and he came back, but this time more as a team player and still found his leadership towards close games. He let the game come to him which was a fun thing to watch.

Too bad November is so far away once again, but I'm sure we'll get past the first round this time around [IMG]

Its just my opinion. I watched about half of the Raptors games and it appeared to me that he was the impact player like nash,kidd,bdiddy...he ran the court and made Bosh better.

Plus I was there live when he hit the game winner vs the Clippers so I really like him[IMG]

TJ sometimes trys too hard to be the hero.

When his shot is falling, he can make our pick-and-roll offense unstoppable. But he doesn't really have a sense of restraint. That's why I think Calderon compliments him so well. He's not nearly as explosive, but he plays with more patience and IQ.

I agree, they are a great 1-2 punch. One of the best in the league. I think alot of people dunt like TJ cause he can go off osmetimes and not think. But i really liek him as a PG, i like that if hes down calderon is there and if there is an odd time when calderon is not up usally someone else is and they are winning.

TJ needs to become a pass first PG and get his assists up, so when his shot isnt falling, he can still rack up some assists and still be effective. The main reason for the Raptors great season is Chris Bosh. This guy is really emerging as a dominant player and is starting to look a lot like KG out there. It would be better for the team if he was more of a banger inside, but he's still a very effective player. This team has nowhere to go but up!

I don't think Ford's assists are the problem, it's the fact that he turns the ball over needlessly and sometimes doesn't create plays but rather just throws the ball at Bosh or something hoping to get an assist.

He's a great passer don't get me wrong, its his playmaking that could use some work.
