I was wondering what was your favorite college game ever? Doesn't matter what conference, team, part of season, or era, I just want to know what is your is your favorite college game ever. Mine is in March Madness from this last season when Vermont was playing Syarcuse, when it went into overtime. T.J. Sorrentine made that shot from the parking lot to pretty much seal it. That was my favorite one this year. I also thought Arizona against Oklahoma St. was a good game, with Salim Stoudamire stepping up to the occasion and winning the game with that shot. Did anyone see that game like 5 years ago, in March Madness when Hampton upset Iowa State? That was a good game too. Cmon guys, give some good feed back!!!
2000 National Championship Game - Michigan State vs. Florida - Michigan State came in as the favorites, but the game was pretty close for the most part. At one point, Teddy Dupay maliciously tripped and injured Mateen Cleaves, but he checked back into the game injured and led the Spartans to their second National Championship in school history. 1979 National Championship Game - Michigan State vs. Indiana State - This actually could be the greatest college basketball game of all time. It pitted two of the top three basketball players of all time against eachother. What wasn't to like? Michigan State won.
1992 Duke vs. Kentucky- Kentucky came in as a big underdog but battled with Duke all game. Two great clutch shots down the stretch made the game a classic. Duke won with a buzzerbeating shot by Christian Laettner after catching a full court baseball pass from Grant Hill.
2003 - Syracuse vs. Kansas - Being a 'Cuse fan, this was one of my favourite games ever watching, because Syracuse finally got a championship. Carmelo solidified himself as one of the greatest freshman players ever. Up 10 with about 5 minutes to go, Kansas made a late charge and could've tied the game on a last 3 pointer, however, Hakim Warrick skied through the air and saved the day for the Orangemen.
The Villanova UNC game in the sweet 16 last year is right up there with any game I've watched, but my personal favorites were the St. Joseph's Vs. Stanford game in round 2 of the 2001 tourney, and of course overcoming Wake in 2004 when people said Paul would school Nelson, people are dumb sometimes!

In my opinion, Arizona vs. Illinois was hands down the best game, followed by Wake Forest vs. West Virginia and Michigan State vs. Kentucky. After that, you've got Illinois vs. North Carolina and Kansas vs. Bucknell.
Second round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament... Arizona over Gonzaga 96-95 in 2 OTs. This game was incredible from start to finish and it involved one of my favorite college programs (unfortunatly losing) and a Pac-10 program. The passion and intensity was incredible in this game, Blake Stepp's last second shot in the 2nd OT barely missed. I'll never forget this game.
Hmmm, probably Bryce Drew's three point buzzer beater to beat Ole Miss in the 1998 NCAA Tourney. He caught the ball, turned around, and let it rip to beat Ole Miss 70-69 and advance to the 2nd round of the tournament.

The Syracuse verses Kansas game in 2003 is up there too with Kansas being so close and Warrick just swatting it away.

Another great game would be last year's game with Michigan State and Kentucky in the Elite Eight. That game wasn't one of the greatest but it sure was a good game that came down to the wire.
