I think we may see another Pascal moment on September 25th when American Allan Green (29-2, 20 KO’s), a huge underdog, marches into the MCH Multiarena, in Herning, Denmark, and takes out the home star WBC super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (43-2, 32 KO’s) in shocking fashion in their Super Six tournament stage 3 fight. It won’t be the first time that Kessler got schooled in the tournament by an American. Kessler already got thrashed by the talented Andre Ward last November, and he’s probably still have nightmares about that brutal beating that Ward gave him.

Green, 30, may not have the inside fighting ability that Ward had going for him in his win over Kessler, but Green has the other same ingredients that Ward has – hand speed, power and boxing skills. All Green needs to do is increase his work rate, throw more jabs and attack Kessler like he’s done against the 2nd tier fighters that Green has feasted on during his eight year pro career. We already know that Green massive power and massive skills, but he just needs to make some minor tweaks in his game to get by Kessler in this fight.
