Green will remain on the bench for the 49ers game. Thank goodness it's the 49ers. (And I'm not entirely sure we can beat them) We are getting pretty desperate for a win at this point. This season may already be over. Great googily moogily!
Losing Green is a huge blow to this team. Unfortunately I think KC is getting ready to enter into a rebuilding mode which will make them a non-factor for the next 2 - 3 seasons.
I think the Niners will likely get the win. They have a horrific pass defense but we have shown some ability to stop the run in previous seasons. We also have done a pretty ok job of getting some pressure on the qb.I think our offense has looked solid and despite losing Davis,we have got a better, more sound tight end in Eric Johnson. Look for a Niner victory in this one.... SF- 34 KC-16
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JustBry07)</div><div class='quotemain'>That is a huge loss, Chiefs are finished now. Did KC keep Casey Printers? Anyone know?</div> not sure who that is but the loss will only be for ii think one more week.... DREW OLSON(better stats then both Young and Leinart and Cutler and anyone else last year) went undrafted...Think the Chiefs could use him for a week or two?Stupid idiots for the whole NFL to not get this guy...F-ing stupid...even the niners are f-en stupid for passsing on him..he is a great number 2 and could be a solid starter in a few..
Casey Printers came over from the CFL, that's why I was wondering. I never thought he'd be a starter just curious to know if KC ended up keeping him around because I haven't heard anything about him.
Printers was released, but then re-signed to the practice squad. If Jon Gruden doesn't decide to give him a shot, he should remain a Chief for now.

KC's defense has been much improved and Larry Johnson should have a lot of sucess against the 49ers defense. With Davis and Gore out it could be a long day for the 49ers on offense. Smith would have to have a lights out game. Right now everything lingers on Gore in my opinion. Robinson is no Frank Gore and if he's out I think KC wins. Even if he does play SF won't put up that much on KC and it'll be a close game. KC played Denver very close on the road with Damon Huard as a QB. If they can do that they certainly are capable of being the 49ers.
the way the Chiefs have been playing i would say the 49ers.... personally i have always hated Herman Edwards as a field coach he has awful playcalling. Its showing i think, the loss of Al Saunders is also hurting them as well. I think its coaching as well as Green being out.

Frank Gore is the single handed difference maker for this team he plays they are good he doesnt they are bad almost as bad as oakland...well maybe not that bad

I am looking for the Chiefs first big "W" this week. (Gore, or no Gore). There is my fearless prediction. How can I continue to talk smack to Chip until we get a win and officially have the better record.
Forget who's playin' or not. The KC team is enough better to get away with a win this week. Bank on it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Chiefs should win this one. I'm guessing Larry Johnson will hit 200 yards in this game.</div> if he is, this is the game. That chiefs o-line is miserble. And the 49ers D-line isn't impressive
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (fearthefro085)</div><div class='quotemain'>if he is, this is the game. That chiefs o-line is miserble. And the 49ers D-line isn't impressive</div> First of all, i would disagree that the 0-line is "miserable". We still have 3 pro-bowl calibur players manning the middle of that line. The tackles are a work in progress. I contend that we still have an average O-line at worst and above the middle of the pack in my estimation. We just feel like the protection is falling apart based on the norm of the Chiefs dominating a game with thier O-line play. I bet David Carr or Daunte Culpepper would still trade lines with us.
