"On a Boston Celtics team that features mega-superstars Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, newly acquired Shaquille O'Neal was the one who got the loudest, rock-star-like treatment last night in his debut wearing the Kelly green.

No matter how much adulation O'Neal and his teammates got from the Boston faithful, only one thought could come to mind: They ain't Roy Halladay.

The 76ers started their second preseason game in as many nights just before Halladay finished his playoff-debut gem against the Cincinnati Reds. And when the Celtics threw out a starting lineup that featured all that firepower, along with point guard Rajon Rondo, you'd figure Boston would throw up some major offensive numbers - especially considering the Sixers had the likes of Trent Plaisted in the starting lineup as Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala got the night off.

But it was the Boston defense that made the Sixers' offense look as woeful as the Reds did against Halladay. A night after turning the ball over just nine times against the New Jersey Nets, the Sixers had their 10th giveaway by early in the second quarter and finished the game with 22. In fact, they had double-digit turnovers before they had double-digit points."
