Tonight was his best game of his career as far as I'm concerned. 17 points, 13 rebounds, 1 block in only 26 minutes is dominant. He will only get better. Go Blazers
it was against the bulls who might be smaller then teh heat. with that said...he looked very good. it would be nice if he could do it vs SA or Houston or LA though. Then he will arrive.
He absolutely embarrassed the Bulls. It was so much fun watching the offense run through him--I swear at times it looked like vintage Spurs basketball. Oden is going to be the best passing big man in the game in about 2 years. Well, maybe after Yao. Seriously, who else is going to be close?
He definitely earned some praise tonight. I wish that we could play the Bulls one or two more times this year so that he could get his confidence up. Either way, I think he's improving in that aspect and could have some nice games against the upcoming competition.
No. They aren't monsters by any stretch, but Gooden, Thomas, Noah, Gray are bigger than anything the Heat trot out on a nightly basis.
He didn't embarass the Bulls. It's impossible to embarass the Bulls bigs. They've been allowing games like this from everyone all season long. Kevin Love had 18 and 12 against us.
One of the most impatient and biggest Oden doubters starts an "Oden Fan Club" thread? I'm down with that. You know, we'll never forgive you for that! Greg is getting in better shape and he's finally getting his confidence back. It goes from night to night and is mainly influenced by the officials getting him in early foul trouble or not. He's a beast when he gets aggressive. We'll be a serious force when he brings that every night and keeps from getting those ticky tack fouls.
Really, don't read anything into this game when evaluating Oden. Look at the 82games.com position rankings. http://www.82games.com/0809/BYPOSIT.HTM
I already know Oden's going to be a star whether he performed well in this game or not. Oden is a beast, btw.
I thought he played great last night. He was active. That's all I ask of him. 10 pts & 8 rebounds was a solid line for a rookie center who missed a year of basketball. It's the 3 pts & 1 rebs games where he shows no passion that depress me.
