<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Police were investigating a report Saturday that suspended Rockets forward Eddie Griffin beat up and shot at a woman at his southwest Houston home sometime before dawn.

Police spokesman Alvin Wright said no warrant had been issued for Griffin's arrest and police had been unable to locate him.

"It's his word against hers, and we can't find him," Wright said. "Nobody saw him do anything. There are no witnesses."</div>

if he indeed did do this, he is screwing up his future and will be looked at as a quitter

    What Da Hell

OK...Eddie must have his weed laced with a drug called "dumb ass"!!

    He is drowned in drama!!

It was reported that he just had a baby so I wonder if the female is his "baby-mama".

I need a bit more evidence that he did this before I even consider that it was him. Two questions I want answered:

    1. Who was the lady shot?
    2. Why was she at Griffin's house?

    Questioning

She was supposedly "shot at" not "shot" but "punched" and Eddie supposedly made a call to 911 that someone was breaking in his home.

I think there are too many scenarios that could be drummed up concerning this mess.

Until Eddie shows his face and provides some details as to what happened that day, it will just be another blip on the NBA/police blotter.

Griffin's attorney has said that the lady was uninvited and was breaking into his home. Under Texas law, if someone enters your property at night uninvited you have the right to fire a weapon at them. That's what the law states.

This case is basically his word vs. her's. She hasnt pressed charges yet. For the record, Griffin is doing a very smart thing in not talking to the police on this case.
