<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HOUSTON (AP) ? Suspended Rockets forward Eddie Griffin is being investigated by police, who received a call saying the player beat and shot at a woman at his home. No warrant had been issued for Griffin's arrest and police haven't found him, police spokesman Alvin Wright said Saturday. Wright said the case will be referred to the district attorney's family violence unit Monday. Rockets spokesman Dan McKenna said the team was aware of the situation. The team suspended Griffin indefinitely Oct. 16 after he missed practices and a flight. A call to Griffin's lawyer, Rusty Hardin, was not immediately returned. Police received a call from a woman at an unknown location before dawn Saturday, saying Griffin assaulted her, Wright said. About 25 minutes later, Griffin called police to say somebody had broken into his house. Police arrived to find Griffin's cousin and another woman. The cousin told police he hadn't seen or heard anything, Wright said. The woman at the home, however, told police Griffin had been downstairs talking and "beat the woman up and shot at her," Wright said. He said all police knew about a gun being fired was what the woman at Griffin's home told them. The woman who said Griffin assaulted her was treated at a hospital, but Wright did not have her name http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentSe...ol=970081562040 .</div> ( No Comment )

I don't know what's wrong with this kid. He just doesn't have it mentally to survive in the league. Physically and athletically he is up there, but mentally it's like he still is in high school. He just isn't into the game....
