RECAP! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mike Miller scored just five points, but they came at the perfect time for the Memphis Grizzlies. Miller had his only two baskets of the game and a free throw in the final 2:47 as the Grizzlies rallied for a 91-87 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Forced to handle the ball more than usual due to the absence of point guard Jason Williams in the second half, Miller delivered the clutch go-ahead basket for the Grizzlies in a game-ending 13-3 run. Williams experienced blurred vision in his right eye at halftime and did not play in the second half. </div> http://www.nba.com/games/20040117/MEMPHI/recap.html
Thank you for the link, JWillTheFreak. I'll have a preview up for the Dr.King Game tomorrow afternoon.
It wasn't pretty but the Grizz will definitely take it. Bonzi, Mike M., and Stro all stuggled on the offensive end but fortunately it doesn't take many points to beat the Sixers. The defense especially on Iverson was very good despite his 34 points. Hubie to guard him with the bigger guards(Mike M and Bonzi) which seemed to work out well the times he was matched with J-will or Watson he scored a large percentage of the time. J-will did not play in the 2nd half due to the fact that he had blurred vision thanks to a finger in the eye(I didn't see it). He started out 3 for 3 and shot looked smooth and then he was missing bad so maybe that had something to do with it.

However, Mike Miller had one heck of a game. His shot wasn't off or anything. He just decided to only attempt four shots. There is nothing wrong with only taking four shots when you are able to move the ball around and find someone in a better position to score than you are. Also, how can you have good defense on Iverson and let him score thirty-four points? Any time a player scores thiry-four points the defense is largely responsible.
