Alex Sarr went first in our mock draft, at #1 to Atlanta.

Who do you think Washington should take?
Try to be a fan or the GM for the team, rather than who you want to have them take based on your Blazers fandom.

Tomorrow morning I'll set up another poll with the results factored in .
    1. Atlanta: Alex Sarr, France
    2. Washington
    3. Houston
    4. San Antonio
    5. Detroit
    6. Charlotte
    7. Portland
    8. San Antonio
    9. Memphis
    10. Utah
    11. Chicago
    12. Oklahoma City
    13. Sacramento
    14. Portland

It's not going to happen, but if the Wizards were smart, they would snag Castle to run the point for their rebuild. Take the ball out of Poole's hands and supplement his defensive deficiencies. Risacher is likely the consensus pick, but much like Sarr in Atlanta, Castle's probably a better fit with their current roster, and also a more likely to be the "dawg" they need.

Clingan is BPA for a team that just dispatched Gafford. Risacher is neat but a tick surgical for their stage of the rebuild.

Washington is a tough one. Talk about a team that needs everything. I chose Risacher, but you make a good point.

It's going to be Risacher in the poll, but Risacher to Atlanta and Sarr to Washington makes much more sense. The Wizards already invested in their super-young super-raw French wing/forward last draft.

I like the suggestion of Castle, though. That makes a lot of sense. And Washington really needs an injection of winning mentality.

This makes a lot of sense, but only if Washington are wedded to Poole. And if they're dumb enough to stick with him do they have the sense to draft Castle?

Even if they want to ditch Poole, Castle would be a good candidate to build around.

Dynamic large point guard who can't shoot. Do they have a type?

Clingan as they dont have a 5 and need a defensive rim protector.

I voted Risacher because he seems to have the highest upside. Washington is not in a situation where they should be drafting for need, and he's a couple inches taller than Coulibaly so it presumably wouldn't be an either/or if they both worked out as hoped.

In 3-5 years from now Reed Sheppard just might be the best player to come out of this draft.

I worry Risacher is too limited to do what Washington would need him to do. He projects as a low usage catch and shoot guy who may not necessarily have star upside, depending on how much you had to drink last night.

Voted Risacher #1 so again got to vote him here.

Sarr just looks too far away offensively, although everyone in this draft has big downsides.

I like the comments that you basically have to think of this draft as starting at pick #10 or something in relation to other years drafts. So we have pick #17 and #24.
