Everyone wants to compare Yao and Shaq.. All of us in here know whos more dominant... But yao needs to time to grow.. Last year all he did was hook shots inside. But look at him this year.. He is dunking more<< Did u notice that.. Yao is getting more dominant .... Yao will be better than Shaq in two or three years... Im tired of people thinking that yao sucks and shaq is way better... And i was surprised some people say that marcus camby should've started over yao<<< what the heck are they talking bout.. Yao is way better than camby and will be better than shaq in a few years..

Give yao some credit.. He has gotten better every season..

I don't care what people say, I think Yao is the best center in the league. Shaq may draw more double teams I guess, but I still think this year is the year when Yao's stats are beginning to look better than Shaqs. By next year he should be over Shaq, and the year after on another level.

Actually, Yao got way more dunks last year. 15% of his attempts were dunks last year, while this year it's down to 7%. A big part of that is all the games he has played this season without McGrady. Last season, 77% of his dunk attempts were assisted, while this season only 55% are assisted.

Yao was a more effective scorer last year (he shot 55% last season, remember), but I'm sure he'll improve as this season continues assuming both he and McGrady can stay healthy.

Shaq's kinda fallen off the wagon this season... he rarely plays more than 30 minutes in a game and his conditioning and injuries have really limited him. Still, in the playoffs I'd rather have Shaq than Yao at this point in their careers.
