(Grunwald, a former basketball executive with the Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets, was once drafted by the NBA but did not play due to injury. He also holds a law degree, an MBA and an honours business degree in marketing.) Becky McKinnon, Chair of the Board of Trade, credits Grunwald?s nearly two years of leadership with helping the organization achieve new highs in profile and public influence.</div> http://www.bot.com/sub/HomePages/PublicHomePage.asp If Isiah does get fired I have a feeling this guy will take over. *Sigh*

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting el_guasibiri:</div><div class="quote_post">okay answer me this!! I just hope this guy isn't his successor.
Grunwald's a smart dude. He had a pretty secure job at Toronto Board & Trade, but he knows that Isiah's firing is inevitable and he'll have a huge role in one of the league's most prestigious teams. It's funny, though. Out of the former Raptors GM's, Babcock probably would've been a better choice as a VP. He did a great job (despite a couple rough spots) of putting the Raptors in the position to rebuild again. You just got to hope that if/when Dolan fires Isiah, he's smart enough to clear out his staff, too.
