<div class="quote_poster">phunDamentalz Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">His development has crept up on the league out of nowhere. The last 3 games i've seen him blocking shots like Mutombo, pass out of the double team better than just about any center, and do Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki moves. It's been said that this is a big man's game, if that is the case, the West favorites should be Phoenix with Amare and Houston with Yao. In the east you've got Dwight and Ben Wallace playing like the old Ben. 27 REBOUNDS tonight!! big men are back....here's hoping we get to watch some great big men rivalries instead of Shaq. versus everyone else!</div>
Yea, I agree with pretty much everything you said, except I don't know if Big Ben is back to being the Big Ben of the past (I need to see him more), and I think the West favourites have to include Tim Duncan and the Spurs.

Wow, third quarter and already three pages? This is seeming like a Warriors game thread LOL. Keep the updates coming shape!

Btw, Skip, how are you watching this game in Canada? Is it on TV or something?

Nah, I wanted to watch the Raps game and Rockets game on TV, but nothing is on. I caught some highlights of nba games from thescore and checked TSN as well. I have been checking the boxscore a few times @ nba.com.

I think if you have digital cable you might get espn to watch it. The Canadian networks really are terrible at coverage of good nba games.

Rockets actually have more TOs than Lakers now. Kobe is 4-5 from 3 pt range.

Man Hayes still took only 2 shots this game. Shoot more damn it!
Bonzi wills with 8 points and 6 rebounds, very nice. Yao Ming doing it all by himself. Lets pull this one away. GO ROCKETS!!

Great pass by Head to Yao for a slam!
Rockets are up 85-78. Man Kwame Brown is the best at free-throws.

What the hell? Smush cusses at the ref and takes his headband off and there's no technical foul?

Well, I guess the NBA decided to scrap that rule.

Alston needs to stop bringing the ball up the court so fast.

Yao Ming blocks the mess out of Luke Walton. Lakers up by two with 45 secs.

EDIT: Yao ties it with 30 seconds!!

Same story every night. Yao not scoring in the final minutes, Rockets with no defense, bad pass and turnovers, huge lead reduced to zero.

I blame Alston for those stupid fouls, stupid turnovers, and not friggin moving when yao posts up which allows his man to double-up on yao easily!!
