It was great to see Milan form a guard of honour and applaud Liverpool off the pitch last night - the Reds players and manger showed their appreciation. Sevilla did it for Espanyol last week in the UEFA final and Espanyol returned the honour (unfortunately Liverpool couldn't get back down to repay Milan before they went up to get the cup).

Is this a new (and very welcome) tradition in football? Any other examples?

It was fantastic to see this happen, I was unsure about the new Trophy presentation but I now think it is the right way to do it.

It shows respect to one and other.
