Which way do you think Jerry and Hubie will go in terms of guard rotation? We've got plenty of 1's, 2's and combo guards on the roster, so a couple are bound to start out on the IL. Think we've got four guys fighting for two spots: Troy Bell (1) Antonio Burks (Combo) Andre Emmett (2) Dahntay Jones (2) Personally, i'd go with Bell and Jones to start with. Bell would give us a third legitimate quality backcourt passer, whilst Jones can provide us with some quality athleticism off the bench (to compliment the play of Posey, Miller, Wells etc.). Which two would you go with?
I don't get it. In my mind, it goes: Point guard: Whit Eboy; Earl Watson; Troy Bell; Burks; Shooting Guard: Mike Miller; Bonzi Wells; Dahntay Jones; Andre Emmett; Unless by "guard rotation" you mean "third and fourth stringers who won't play significant or meaningful minutes" I think I'm lost.
Antonio Burks shouldn't make the team. Nobody likes him; especially not Hubie. He reminded me of a poorman's version of when Jason Williams entered the league. With that said, the guard lineup will look like this - PG: Williams/Watson/Bell SG: Miller/Wells/Emmett SF: Posey/Battier/Jones Emmett and Jones have both been playing Small Forward in the preseason, and both have looked pretty comfortable in doing so. In fact, the two were on the court together the other night for most of the game. They're very flexible. I don't see why it matters with them anyway. Neither will play unless a starter is injured. BTW - What's with all these lineup question threads? The Grizzlies roster is and has been: PG: Williams/Watson/Bell SG: Miller/Wells/Emmett SF: Posey/Battier/Cardinal/Jones PF: Gasol/Outlaw C: Wright/Swift/Tsakalidas

If I'm not wrong, I'm guessing that Humphrey will be waived and Cardinal will come in as a small forward and a power forward.

I made the post without reading it over. I went back and edited it.
I think Taco Bell should start whoever he is. p.s. mr voodoo is it just me or did my gruzzlie thread disappear from thin air?

And why should he start? The Grizz have Jason Williams and Earl Watson who are both better than him. Bell proved nothing last season and needs more seasoning before he's ready to contribute.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ezra:</div><div class="quote_post">Unless by "guard rotation" you mean "third and fourth stringers who won't play significant or meaningful minutes" I think I'm lost.</div> Clearly i was talking about the last two guard spots on the roster, as mentioned in my initial post.
