Shane Battier and Bruce Bowen probably defended Dirk better than anybody I've ever seen. The common theme with both those guys was that they were too short to bother his shot (who isn't when he does that crazy fade away). So they just jammed their hand right in his face between his arms to block his view, right at the moment he shot. Almost never got whistled for the foul. Guard the face, Batum, not the arms.
