<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ESPN - After leading his team in scoring the last two seasons, Miami Hurricanes' junior guard Guillermo Diaz will skip his senior season and enter the NBA Draft, the Associated Press is reporting.Diaz signed Wednesday with agent Jason Levien, meaning he cannot change his mind and return for his final year with the Hurricanes. "I would like to acknowledge coach Frank Haith, all the coaches, and my teammates for their support, guidance and friendship," Diaz said. "Coach Haith is a special person, and he has helped me to improve as a basketball player and to mature as a man." Underclassmen have until April 29 to announce their eligibility for the June 28 draft. Popular draft site nbadraft.net have Diaz projected to go in the second round, 38th overall, as of March 29.</div> Source

This year is a pretty deep draft and if he's being projected a second rounder, I don't know if that was the right move. He probably should have stayed with us for another year and then he'd likely be a first rounder by next year.

He is an electric pg, he has a good crossover and pretty good pog skills but the thing that sets him apart from the rest is his explosive skills, he has one of the highest verticals in college, he will just blow by you. Very quick. I wouldn't mind the Raps picking him up with our 2nd round pick.

there are alot of PGs in this draft, and his name isn't at the top of the list. He should be okay, tho. He is explosive and he can score.

Oh, man i love this kid! One of my fav's. But when you got good guys like Redick, Dee Brown, Adam Morrison etc... entering the draft its gotta be tough to be drafted high.

He's obviously not a floor leader but he can be a scorer off the bench, I think he will do better in the NBA then most people think.

This draft is so poor Dee Brown could easily slip into the first. It's too early to tell who's already a late first/early second.
