http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketba...1p-113328c.html So far in the preseason the Knicks are shooting under 40%, are averaging under 80 PPG and are turning the ball over. It seems like Houston is a little more important to the Knicks than people thought. After his knee surgery in the summer he has made a good recovery. He is looking towards playing Friday as his return date.
i really would like to see him traded, i dont wanna win i wanna rebuild and get young players, we got lampe i think he is a verry nice start. i say get rid of houston get some picks, fire layden and we are okay but i dont think h20 will really do any good for us....16 ppg and not really stable? the guy comes to play one day then he tanks the next.i say houston can stay on the IR and lets have a bad season.
Rebuilding would be a bad thing for the Knicks, but it appears they are going through it now. Its pretty important for the franchise have a solid team because their income will be going down the drain.
No need to rush Houston back for pre-season just make sure he is ready to go for the Knicks season opener v the Magic... And knicks235 don't know how you can say what you did...Houston had a very good season last year..the Knicks most consistant player easily...an amazing shooter...got two 50 point games...Houston is overpaid but is still very important to the Knicks team....He needs to show leadership to NY now that Sprewell is gone....As long as Dice is back and heathly..Knicks are a playoff team.Knicks have tried to build for the future and it has not worked.Lampe and Sweetney are two good young talents...Build with that...No need to tank to get another high pick...
A Houston is over paid but he does his job he scores almost 20 points a game and shoots 40+% evrey year!!! The Knicks dont need him in PreSeason but they need him in the Regular Season!!! To WIN!!!
