I had to waste my entire day today but I finally became a citizen, so now I can officially piss off the conservatives on this board and cast my vote in November. I was so worried they'd take forever to process my papers (I sent them in July 2007, they're pretty slow), but I'm good now. Wow I'm stoked.
Congrats! We've been in the country since I was 3 (12 years now), and we still haven't gotten ours. Just got our Greencards last december.
Oh lol, thanks everyone. Voting is very important, this is just a reminder to please register if you can. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (#1_War_Poet_ForLife @ Aug 15 2008, 06:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Congrats! I hope you're able to vote in 2012.

I just noticed huevonkiller lives in Florida. That vote could theoretically count 10x or 100x more than my vote would (New Jersey).
Congrats huevon! Although now that I know you'll be voting Obama (officially) I"ll change my vote to McCain just to cancel yours out. Welcome to America! (and if anyone tries to give me a lecture on the electoral college, I'll put you on my ignore list )
