The fact is that KD joined a winning team that his OKC team couldn't beat. I am not a fan of KD and never have been.

Further giving the rest of the NBA reason to not like Durant. This prim donna is ruining the NBA with his false sense of self-worth IMHO.

I wonder if we would have honked twice if having Durant on the team would have extended Roy's career by a season or two?

I doubt it. Fans have turned pretty hard on LMA even though he had no obligation to us to re-sign here.

Huh? Roy, his rapidly degrading knees. Wondering if having another scorer on the team might have taken the load and resulting wear & tear off of Roy.

Durant joining the Warriors was upsetting, but not as bad as LeBron creating a superteam.

What LeBron did was much better than what KD did. LeBron was sick of losing to Paul Pierce who had KG and Ray Allen as teammates while he only had Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao. Do you blame him for wanting to level the playing field? It's not like he JOINED the Celtics! That is what KD did. Couldn't beat em so he joined them.

Not even close in my book. Durant did what basically everyone does. Choose the best offer.

    edit:
He didn't choose the best offer. He took a $10 million paycut to play with GS. I'm sure there were plenty of teams who would've given him the max. Washington, for example. He chose the easiest path to a title, not the best offer.

My bad - I was reading your post as if we’d turn on Durant if he was here and left

So, signing a piece of paper that a team is begging you to sign is worse than actively breaking the rules?

LeBron then immediately promised 8 championships - publicly.

No obligation? No obligation to root for or appreciate players on other teams. JFC
