The posterization of Ivey didn't count (should of though) because it was called a charge. He is going to be a junior. He will go top ten. I'm not sold on top five yet, but a lot of people think he will go top five.

Yah he can play both sf/pf but would need to gain a bit of weight to play pf he has very long arms. He will be top five.

Warrick is a lottery talent, but has lots to prove. If the draft were today, he'd probably go between 4-8, but that doesn't mean much. Both Warrick and Jim Boheim are going to be under a lot of scrutiny this year. THey need to show that Carmelo Anthony wasn't the only thing going at Syracuse last year.

Warrick is lottery, and being 6'8' or 6'9' he has to be strong to play PF in the league. I don't think he is a top 3 pick though. Pavel, Emeka and Howard...and then from there he could be picked anywhere from 4 on...

They don't know what they are talking about over there. And why did you bring Melo into this? Two completely different players.

Hakim has great low post footwork

Wow, Jermaine O'Neal?! Where did you get that?

Jermaine O'Neal is an superstar, All-Star. Hakim Warrick could be like a Marcus Camby (Camby is good if you didn't remember). He is an explosive leaper, a shotblocker. Warrick has real good low post moves, footwork.

First lets see how he does without Carmelo Anthony. You know the guy that the whole defense focused on. He helped Duany, Hakim, GMac, and Billy Edelin. Second, he needs a jumpshot. Then, he needs to add weight and strenght. Then, if he does show he can play without Melo, and does the other things, lets talk. Right now, he is a dunker, a Darius Miles.

Hakim Warrick has outstanding low post footwork. Its something to behold.

He is also very athletic and a good shotblocker. His midrange game is also good.

All this translates into being a top pick. Plus, the word scouts love, potential.

He will be a top 10 pick when he comes out. His future is at the 3 IMO. He needs to add a lot of muscle to make it as a 4. He's a tall, quick, 3 with good shotblocking skills. Scouts will drool over that. If he can muscle up, he may become a 4, but IMO, that might take away from his strengths a bit.

He does have a jumpshot. His midrange game is actually very good. What he does need to add is range on his shot. He's comfortable around 12'-15' feet or so. But if he can extend his range and improve his handles, he has the potential to be an NBA 3. He has a lot of bulking up to do to become a 4, and because of that, I think he may be better suited at the 3. But again, he has to etend his range and improve his handles, because most NBA 3's now have better than average handles.

No, his midrange jumper is not that great. I saw over 20 Syracuse games this year, and I was very impressed with Hakim. He has GREAT footwork. That low post move, where he plants his foot, and then does a 180 for a dunk, it is real nice, and he can block some shots...but his jump shot, needs work. I am not saying he CAN'T be a good pro. He can, needs work. But to say he is Jermaine O'Neal is a little much.

BTW I am a big Hakim fan, but I think JO is too much for him.

I am not argueing with the fact that he will be a top 10 pick...because he will be. Too be a real 3 in the NBA, you have to be a shooter, and he is not. I don't know if he is explosive enough off of the dribble to be a 3 either. I think he should put on weight and muscle and become a PF.

His strengths are playing in the post. That is where he should be. But right now he is doing things with ONLY his athletic ability. He won't be able to get away with that in the NBA.

Yeah he should be a good NBA player like O'neal maybe not that good and maybe that good. After this season without Carmelo we should be able to tell if he will be like O'neal or not.
