I was watching it before the hockey game last night. Halladay was nasty, except for a randomly crappy 7th inning where he allowed 4 runs. Pitch count was way too high, but he had an extra day of rest (I'm guessing that was Cito's reasoning).

Did you watch Jered Weaver last night?

Weaver's been filthy all year. Really turning into a star pitcher. His record is only 5-2, but he's had at least two wins blown by that bullpen. Plain fucking filthy and he is only going to get better. The kid is finally putting it together.

And yeah, Doc was filthy. Those K's were sick.

These back-to-back pitching clinics have been awesome to watch (even if one worked against Toronto).

Adam Lind is damn good hitter. He's a doubles machine. John Lackey put in a solid performance, but the Angel bullpen coughed up another opportunity for their starter to get a win.

Nice to see Lackey throw a solid performance. He's slowly coming back to form after coming off the DL.

I suspect the bullpen will get better once Kelvim returns Saturday. The Angels are about to start clicking, finally. Everyone is finally getting healthy.

Our 1-2-3 (Scutaro, Hill, Lind) have been a revelation this season. Without them, more people would be harping on the disappointing seasons of Vernon Wells and Alex Rios (although Rios has shown signs of turning it around lately).

Is Doc the best pitcher in the majors?
