Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Ok. Game over Kobe fans. This one is a lock to go to Steve. Steve led that otherwise forgotten team to the #2 seed and also the best offense and 3 point shooting team in the League. How? Precise passing and by drawing the oppenents in and then dishing to the open guy. He makes his team better, he scores an incredibly high percentage and he is the best passer in the NBA. Also a top notch shooter and a pretty good attacker. Not to mention a money foul shot. And besides that, he just beat out his rival, Kobe when they were down 3-1 in the series. To come back and win 3 games straight is just amazing. When no one else was playing well, he taped the team together with his scoring abilities and he got his teammates going with the easy looks. And the supposedly MVP, besides the game winning shots didnt prove he deserved it. He had 1 point in the 2nd half this game thanks to "Psycho Bell" and he could not win just 1 of the last 3 games. To me, thats not something the MVP could not do.Anyway Nash's numbers: 23.7 ppg, 9.7 apg (He would have got even more if his teammates made shots) and on 51 percent shooting. Nash craves pressure situations. He was the leader of that Dallas team and now the Suns team. He comes up big in the playoffs, leads his team to a 2 seed in the reg, scores when his team needs him to, passes when his team makes looks, runs the #1 offense and 3 point shooting team.Nash = MVP. Good night everyone.P.S. Laker fans, dont even bother protesting. Its ova!
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Steve Nash already won MVP..don't see the point in revisiting this again.
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner What? Why did you bring Chris Bosh into this?I just decided to make this thread to shut all the Laker fans up.And Barbosa was sh*t in every game except 1 and 7. I know it was a joke but that is complete garbage. Nash is the one that pieced it together for hs Suns. Look at his series stats.Want me to bring out Barbosa's? *Cough 5 ppg Cough*
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Yeah, it's too bad Steve Nash didn't make his teammates better in Dallas. Why the hell did he decide to starting doing this when he was 31 years old?
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Nash didn't deserve MVP. His numbers weren't as good as Bron's or Kobe's, both Lakers and Cavs had far worse role players to compliment stars, he did nothing historic like Kobe or Bron, and Bron's team won like 3 less games. Nash shouldnt have anything to do with the 2005-2006 MVP.

Kobe lead a young inexpierenced team to a game 7 showdown with the 2nd seed.Looks to me like a certain Raptor fan still remembers an 81 point game by a certain someone.

Kobe led the Lakers to a 3-1 series lead, but unfortunately the Lakers became the eighth team in league history to blow that lead in a seven-game series.I really didn't expect the game we all saw tonight. I was expecting more of a tight game, but the Lakers just couldn't get it together. This truly reminds me of T-Mac in Orlando...

Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Kobe can get open as he pleases. Nobody can stop that jump shot of his. He jumps to high in the air for it to be contested.
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Agreed, did you see his 3 point stroke in the first quarter? It was almost automatic.
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner Give credit to Bell. He played very good defense on Kobe the whole game. Kobe just made tough shots over Bell in the first half. Raja was able to limit Kobe in the 2nd half though..
Re: Hand the MVP to it's rightful owner And did you hear the post game interview? PJ told him that to win the game, they'd have to pound it inside and get Lamar more involved.
