    Young officer home on leave from Naval Academy needed a date. His sister arranged one with a friend even the friend liked another guy.

    The rest is history, 75 years later.
    Happy anniversary Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter.

    75 is certainly amazing. A rare feat, indeed. My Dad passed away just a few months before the 75th wedding anniversary of him and mom.

    my great grandparents celebrated thier 75th.
    When she passed away a few years later, he was completely healthy and still doing the bowling league and everything. But he passed away less than two months after she did. Nothing left to live for. He cared for her in his home until she passed.

    Thats true love…
