And your license 6 months later.</div> that is awesome, I thought living in Florida would be cool cuz they get their permit at 15, I had no idea that there were places that get it a year younger than THAT, I feel like theres a ton of 14 year olds that wouldn't even be able to see over the steering wheel though.
Re: Happy B-Day Bravest!! In Illini, you have to be 15 to get your permit. You go to the DMV and take a test for rules of the road. You pass, you get your permit. For your license, you need 6 hours of classroom Behind the Wheel instruction, have the permit for at least 3 months, at least 25 hours of driving w/ a family member who has been licensed for more than a year and is 21 or older, and you can't get it until you turn 16. And for the 1st 6 months of your license, you can only drive w/ one friend in the car.
