When I think of the Atlanta Hawks, I obviously think of Dominique Wilkins. He was the face of the franchise, and a pretty good dunker as well. Scince the days of Wilkins, we know that Atlanta has struggled to find a #1 guy. They have found him, his name is Joe Johnson. Johnson is about a year away from taking the Hawks to the post-season and really doing some damage. The Hawks are loaded with high-flyers such as Josh Smith, Marvin Williams and Josh Childress. Other key players include Speedy Claxton, Zaza Pachulia, Shelden Williams and Tyron Lue. If the Hawks can mantain consistency and develop a solid starting lineup, they could certainly be in the 2008 playoffs. Expect Atlanta to have a breakout season pretty soon. Happy Hawks Day!

I agree, this team has the pieces to be good next year and make a possible playoff run. I think they should look into getting Conley in this draft, as they have been needing a point guard that can distribute the ball and get everyone involved. Conley prooved at Ohio State that he can do this, and I believe will be the best pickup in the draft for the Hawks.

Conley would be a great fit! Plus, he would be available right around when the Hawks pick.

Look outside america too. That's how we scored Garbajosa, Calderon, Parker and Bargnani.
