Who do you guys think works the hardest in the NBA?

It could be working hard by practicing all the time, or it could also be a player that is always hustling after ball when it comes down to game time.

    Iverson comes to mind. Artest.

I like Bo Outlaw's hustle too.

Man, when he was playin with the Pistons, I thought he was pure garbage. Proved me wrong, as well as the Pistons Organization. But did you see when they played the Pistons in Detroit, that 1st quarter Buzzer Beatin shot from the other free throw line? That was amazing.

Prior to last summer, Kobe had the best work ethic off the court. In-game, I'd say Iverson, Pierce, and Garnett. Artest, Wallace (not Sheed, lol), and Kurt Thomas also play hard.

When they played Dallas last night on ESPN, Bill Walton said jokingly "This guy(Cardinal) should be in the all-star game". lol

iverson definitely comes to mind. the guy made it clear though that he doesn't enjoy practice very much, but who cares? he saves it all for when it matters.

if a guy like vince had juevos like iverson, it would be downright scary.

Tyrone Hill is/was another hard worker on and off the court.

I agree with Ben Wallace and with Allen Iverson being the top two hardest workers. Ron Artest would probably be behind both of them. It used to be Kobe, but he couldn't really do anything before this season.

A good thing about it being Ben Wallace is that it rubs off on the whole Pistons team. It is common to hear about players (Mostly Darko and Ben now) to keep trying to get better. I hope that Darko learns a lot from Ben, not only on defense but on training and working hard. Think of Darko, with Bens defense and Garnett type offensive. Go Ben!

Agreed. That's pretty much the same list I would have had, not sure about Kurt Thomas though, haven't watched the Knicks this year yet.

This is such a controversial subject, it's not the matter of how much they add to the success but their actual heart and effort. I've never seen such hardworkers as the likes of Kirilenko, Nene, Ginobli, Malik Rose(put his first name because some people might've mistaken the Rose for Jalen Rose.), Ben Wallace(Rasheed yeah right, haha), Rashard Lewis and Desmond Mason. AI as well.

You see take Malik for example, only around 6'8" right? He'd fight and contest for rebounds of people who are like over 7'0", someone very important I forgot another man of great hustle. Madsen, he goes for so many loose balls and rebounds, he's willing to fight anyone for his team, so much heart. I really admire players like that. Pierce is like that too, one of those one man team efforts.

I would go for guards like Jason Kidd and AI.

Jason Kidd for being everywhere on the court. His triple doubles proved it all.

AI plays injured almost all the time and yet you see him doing anything to win games.

LOL, come on guys. AI is not anywhere near being the hardest worker in the NBA. He has missed shootarounds, practices, etc.

The hardest working players are the ones that we don't know about. The 7th/8th man who wants to make an impacts off the bench, with hopes of moving up in the rotation.

I think many of you would be surprised if you saw just how little time superstars spend working on their game. Shaq is a perfect example. He was so overconfident that he was dumb enough to think that he could rely on dominance, and he came into training camp overweight. Lakers out in the second round....

^ I know about AI's missed practices. I was referring to actual games.

For every Shaq there is a Kevin Garnett or a Michael Jordan, guys that bust ass in practice everyday. Not all superstarts are complacent. Guys like Jordan,KG & Gary Payton kill each other in practices..also heard that about Spree as well...because they know it elevates their game.

On a side note,I can understand Iverson missing some of the time. Little fella takes an absolute poundin' during the games. I'd say thats not the case all the time but I'm betting it factors in alot.

    Ben Wallace
    Malik Rose
    Bruce Bowen
    Ron Artest
    Kevin Garnett
    Allen Iverson

Those are the main guys....Just see what they do in games. They fight so hard for position. They are told to do a job, they do.
