"That man is my hero!" he is right though, you never know what ppl will do for money and if they had more weapons or a gun, he could have been seriously hurt. Good for him that he did it, lucky for him they were amateurs who didn't do this all the time.
We met Hardonk in Vegas. He was sitting on the casino floor near the elevators at the MGM. He was on a stool facing away from a slot machine. As we walked by we were like "is that Hardonk?" He was alone and quiet, not on a cell or anything, so it seemed odd. He was wearing flowery shorts, flip flops, and a hoodie. He was the least intimidating fighter we met that weekend aside from Efrain Escudero, who looked pretty anonymous (I mean not like a fighter or a celebrity). I went up and confirmed Hardonk's identity and then shook his hand and told him I was looking forward to seeing him fight the next day. He wasn't talkative (I dunno how good his English is) but he was polite. Must've been waiting for someone. It seems it's better to meet heavyweights before an event because they aren't cutting (Ryo Chonan was grumpy).
