A ghostbusters with other actors playing the major roles just doesn't sound appealing.

I don't want to watch Ghostbusters with James Franco, Jason Segal and Seth Rogan unless Murray, Ackroyd and Ramis play major parts in it, too (not cameos).

And Ramis has to at least co-write it and Reitman must direct.

This should be Ghostbusters first, not Apatow first.

You mean, you don't want to watch 40 year old knocked up ghostbusters express?

Hm, though I don't like 'reimagined' things, or movies where the baton is handed off to a new team, as long as Shia LaBoeuf isn't involved, the other names attached to this make me somewhat interested in it.

Ramis and Aykroyd are supposed to be writing it.

Well I would love the original ghostbusters to play major roles. But if, and this is a big if, they can get quality talent and a good script I wouldn`t mind it. Obviously some sequels are purely to make money.

Well, apparently they have been trying to get a third film going for quite some time now. Here are official details:

    I'm still interested.

The original has a warm place in my heart. As a kid it was far and away my favourite movie, even though it came out six or eight years before I really got into it (circa 1990).

Ghostbusters 2? What's that? The sequel didn't happen.

I'd be interested in seeing the film with the original cast but a Judd Apatow CGI romp with his usual suspects doesn't sound too appealing.

I'll probably give this a miss, but my dad will be ecstatic.
