After living with pain for six months, Matt Harpring is already daydreaming about what his right knee will feel like after a surgeon cleans it out. So now the Jazz get to daydream about what their team will be like when their leading scorer comes back. Harpring has decided to have arthroscopic surgery on his knee, he said Saturday, a procedure that will keep him out of uniform for the rest of the season. "You never want to go through this, but I've been dealing with this pain the whole year," Harpring said. "It's going to be a relief to get it done, and when I start playing again and I don't have that pain, it's going to feel great." http://www2.sltrib.com/jazz/Main/Story.asp...2004&NUM=128047 Well that's Utah's playoff hopes and leading scorer gone. One of the few positives is it gives Sasha more time to play and develop, because he has shown a lot of potential, but I'd be extremely surprised if he can carry on from Harp.
Yeah, thats a huge blow to the Jazz but Jerry Sloan will still have em competing. This means more minutes for that Pavlovic guy, who seems to have a lot of potential.
The Jazz will probably drop out of the playoff hunt now, unless Jerry Sloan figures out a way to coach them in. But then again, who knows what Sloan can do?
