<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Harrington is a sixth man -- easily the best sixth man in the Eastern Conference and arguably the best in the league. The Pacers would not own the league's second-best record without him. Typically, Harrington takes the floor in the middle of the first quarter and is out there at the end of tight games. He is a big (6-9), athletic and energetic defender who pairs with Artest to form the toughest pair of defensive wings in the league. He operates best at small forward but can play power forward or shooting guard in a pinch. He hustles and rebounds. And he scores. Few players hit the turnaround jumper as well as Harrington, especially when he is on the baseline. He showed that last week, when he put up consecutive games of 21, 24 and 27 points. </div>

I think Harrington is awesome but in regards to the sixth man award....Jamison is going to take it this year (not by much though)

    Stats:
    Harrington: 13 points, 6 boards, 1.7 assists
    Jamison: 15.6 points, 6.5 boards, 1 assist

They both play the same amount of minutes but Jamison plays in a harder conference.

Harrington has been sensational at times for the Pacers but it's not the time for him to win 6th man yet. He needs to work on his consistency still as he has a knack for having a great week followed by a bad month.

Harrington is excellent and should be starting somewhere; the Indiana defense completely shut my Lakers down at Conseco last week.

Its a 3 person battle for sixth man-Boykins,Bobby Jackson, and Jamison. I dont think Harrington will win.

I wouldn't count Harrington out. There's no doubt in my mind that Harrington is one of the best 6th men in the business and arguably the best. I love all 3 of the players you mentioned, and they are all contenders, but Harrington plays defense almost as well as Artest. Even if his statistics don't show that he's playing better than Jamison, you can't see defensive tenacity and the ability to shut down your man on paper.
