Watching a really touching show on CBS (right after 60 Minutes) tonight. Most of you are on PDT, so thought I'd send a little heads-up. Anyway, he's on the road in an RV with his daughter, Georgia, paying tribute to the many Unsung Heroes out there. The show is star-studded and, IMO, definitely worth a watch!
I really was a great show. Nice to see someone out there doing some uniting work. The message was aimed more towards the COVID-19 pandemic - certainly, the planning/filming of this special was in effect prior to the George, Floyd murder, yet the overall message never rings truer. I applaud Harry for producing it.
I'm sure it was really good. I was just making a joke that you were publicizing a show that was happening during the Bolton interview.
I don't watch tv but I have 5 of Harry's albums...I'll listen to one of them today..I know a drummer who used to do session work for Harry in New York City and I think he said Harry's dad was a politician from Georgia although Harry says he's from New Orleans...
NO!!!!!!!! Did you ever see Oliver Stone's JFK? Harry Connick Sr ran and defeated New Orleans DA Jim Garrison after Garrison had his JFK trial. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Connick_Sr.
Here's the production... https://www.cbs.com/shows/grammys/v...ted-we-sing-a-grammy-salute-to-unsung-heroes/
