You know what happened after this steal (Sharpe poking the ball, Nurk gathering, passing to Hart) and fast break layup for Simons? Orlando calls a timeout and Billups substitutes in Lillard and Grant.
    WHY!!!!!!???!!!!

Here's another play by that unit.
Hart gets the rebound and goes coast-to-coast, makes the layup and gets fouled.

Simons blocks Wagner and Sharpe finishes the fast break.

Edit: Simons looks fine working with Sharpe in this sequence, and with Hart bringing the ball up some of the time.

I fucking hated that. This unit had been doing work, while the starting 5 had not been playing too well. 0 reason to put those guy back in that soon and make them play 40 minutes. Pissed me off

    For more context:
Dame / Ant / GPII / Grant / Eubanks was the lineup at the end of the 3rd.
Orlando leading by 9. Chauncey makes 4 subs starting the 4Q with Ant / Sharpe / Hart / Jabari / Nurk

Lead goes is up to 12 for Orlando at the 11:10 mark. Then they get rolling and cut the lead to just 5 in about 2 and a half minutes, and Orlando calls a timeout. So Chauncey immediately subs Dame and Grant back in. WHY ?

I would experiment and start Sharpe at the three and move Hart to the back court and allow him to push the ball more, that when they are more effective. Simons could be the instant offense off the bench that we really need.
I thing Ant plays a bit too cautious in the starting line up.
When Hart and Winslow push the ball that's when the defense get caught back healed.
When Dame and Ant methodically bring the ball up that same d gets set to easily.
We have Grant, Hart, Sharpe, that like to get out and run.

I think this would be a good move with the current roster but we really shouldn’t keep the roster the way it currently is.

God billups is such a better coach than Stotts. No question and no argument. Thank god we don't have stotts and we have billups!

Btw, this is not sarcasm. This is fact.

It was definitely a bad decision to put all the starters in for the end of the game. They were horrible. Sharpe should’ve stayed in. He gets easy buckets.

you leave Dame and Grant out to end a game you might win the game by as coach you’ll lose the team and you lose your stars. Just doesn’t happen in the NBA
