Lee Haskins out-pointed Mohamed Bouleghcha at Jamaâ El Fna in Marrakech, Morocco on Thursday (July 13 to claim the IBF International and WBA Inter-Continental bantamweight titles. At the end of 12 rounds the Bristol, England based boxer was judged a clear unanimous points winner on all cards by scores of 117-109 and 119-107 twice. Bouleghcha was given two standing eight counts, in rounds 6 and 11. On the same card 33 year-old Ismael El Massoudi scored a 12th round tko win over Souleymane M’baye to claim the WBA interim welterweight title. An injury to M’baye is reportedly the reason for the stoppage.
