For what Haslem does do on the defensive end and doesn't do so much on the offensive end of the floor. Do you consider him a "Good" player. He isn't your guy to put up 25 Points a game. But, he does grab alot of rebounds for Miami which is deffiantely good. But, is he worth all the defensive work and the little offensive game? Even though every once in a while he does put up ok numbers from the field.

Wtih shaq being here hes perfect. He hustles and gets the rebounds that shaq doesnt want to chase. So he fits perfect for this system and also he cant hit the jumper. Once shaq leaves than he wont be as perfect for us.

i personally love haslem. i think you might not be giving him enough offensive credit. i know hes obviously not that good on the offensive end, but he does hustle and gets us some pretty good plays every once in a while. hes a great role player, he doesnt complain (except for when he threw his mouthpiece at Joe Crawford in the playoffs), and he works hard for what he gets.

Yo welcome to JBB Premier!! We got a new Heat fan! [IMG]

I would consider Haslem a good player, he is a perfect fit for us. He doesn't have an ego, and he does most of the dirty work, rebounding, defense. etc.. Every team needs a humble, hustle type player like Udonis Haslem. I'm glad we have him. Hes born and raised in Miami, and he even took a paycut to stay here in Miami. Thats loyalty, and I respect him for that.

If I'd take a poll right now of every starting PF, I'd bet Haslem would be get picked around 15-25 of 30 teams, but he's actually a lot better than his stats suggest. He's an underrated defender but he played Rasheed and Dirk as bout as good as anyone in the playoffs. He also gives the Heat a lot of second opportunity and raises the energy of the team with hustle plays.

If Haslem played on a team like the Hawks where he would be allowed to score you'd see he's actually got some moves in the low post. He'd score around 15 ppg which isn't bad for a PF.

Haslem is the perfect PF for this team. He hustles after every ball out there and is a real hard worker. I agree with Heat4Life about him being able to be a scorer somewhere else. I don't see hime ver leaving Miami because he was born and raised here and the fans adore him.

They run plays for him to hit a jumper on the free throw line and on the sides, game 6 he played great and also hes good at second-chance points.

On a team with so many egos (GP, Walker, White Chocolate, Shaq), he fits right in with Wade for the quiet, go to work guys. Its a good mix. Plus, like others said, he will hit that 10-foot jumper when open, has a great rebounding IQ, and does play quality D against good bigs.

As a Laker fan, I know I would sure as hell love to have him.

i like haslem. you don't get paid to do the dirty work or get loose balls, you get paid to score points, Udonis does all the dirty work.

The reason people think he's limited to a jumpshot is because he's the best/only pick n pop player the Heat have.

Along Shaq with his quick pull up jumpers and scrapieness, he`s a great fit for the team.
